Examples of how this works

Where I can help

Five situations I run into often around the Coast. Find the one closest to yours — what the work involves, what it costs, and how long it takes.

These are illustrative examples of the kind of work I do, not client case studies. Prices are indicative starting points and exclude GST.

Start here

Start with an audit

Not sure which of these is your problem? Start with an audit. I look at one area of the business and give you a prioritised, costed list of what to fix — in the order worth doing it. You own the list either way, and you're free to take it and do the work yourself.

If you go ahead with the build, the audit fee comes off the price.

Common situations

Find the one that sounds like you.

Business type

Electrical / plumbing / trades business

Challenge
The phone rings while they're on the tools or up a ladder, so calls go to voicemail. Most callers don't leave a message — they just ring the next business on the list. Quotes get promised in the evening and slip through the cracks.
Solution
An AI receptionist that answers every call 24/7, captures the job details, and books it straight into the calendar. Enquiries flow into a simple CRM with automatic follow-up, so nothing sits unanswered. Set up, tested, and handed over — with training so they can run it themselves.

Every call gets answered, even on site or after hours.

Business type

Local retailer or apparel brand with a Shopify store

Challenge
The store looks fine but barely converts. It's slow on mobile, there are a dozen half-used apps slowing it down, product pages don't answer buyer questions, and abandoned carts disappear with no follow-up.
Solution
A full store audit covering speed, conversion, and product page experience, followed by a focused optimisation sprint — app cleanup, page speed, product and collection pages, checkout tune-up — plus automated email flows for welcome, abandoned cart, and post-purchase.

The same traffic works harder, and carts stop going quiet.

Business type

Tourism operator, café, or accommodation provider

Challenge
Visitors search on their phones and find competitors first. The Google Business Profile is half-filled, reviews are sporadic, and the website doesn't show up for the searches that actually bring bookings — including the AI assistants people increasingly ask.
Solution
A complete Google Business Profile rebuild, consistent listings across directories, a review request system staff can actually use, on-page and technical SEO on the pages that matter, plus structuring content so AI search tools can find and cite the business.

Found by the people already searching nearby.

Business type

Allied health, dental, or professional services practice

Challenge
Reception spends the day on the same handful of questions — hours, fees, parking, rebates, rescheduling. Bookings, notes, and reminders live in separate systems that don't talk, and patient details get re-typed by hand more than once.
Solution
The right systems chosen for the practice — not the biggest ones — connected so information flows once. Repetitive admin automated, common questions handled by a chatbot and templated replies, and a clear handover document so the team owns the process.

Hours of admin back each week, and fewer things falling between systems.

Business type

Wholesaler, manufacturer, or building supplier

Challenge
The numbers exist — in the accounting system, the order system, and half a dozen spreadsheets — but nobody can see the whole picture. Stock decisions, margin, and cashflow get made on gut feel, and month-end reporting eats days.
Solution
One live dashboard pulling from the systems already in use, built around the handful of numbers that actually drive decisions. Reporting automated so it refreshes on its own, with training so the owner can read and trust it without a data analyst.

One screen that answers "how are we tracking?" without a week of spreadsheet work.

What it costs

How I package the work.

Three sizes of job, depending on how much needs doing. Every one is quoted as a fixed price before it starts.

  1. Audit / Quick Win

Good if you know something is off but not what to fix first.

A focused look at one area, and a prioritised, costed list of what to fix — in the order worth doing it.

    from $500ex GST3–5 days

  2. Build

Good if you already know what you need.

One thing built, set up, tested and handed over, with training so your team can run it.

    from $1,200ex GST1–2 weeks

  3. Transformation

Good if the problem spans the whole business, not one corner of it.

Several connected pieces — systems talking to each other, and a handful of workflows automated end to end.

Ongoing support

Entirely optional. Plenty of people never take it.

Keeping what I built running, with changes as things shift. Month to month — stop any time, and you keep everything.

from $200/monthex GSTOptional

These are fixed prices, agreed before any work starts — not hourly rates. The price is the price unless the scope changes. All prices exclude GST.

How it works

From first conversation to handover.

  1. A conversation

Tell me what's slowing you down. No charge, and no discovery call needed just to find out what something costs — the prices are on this page.

  2. A fixed price

I scope the work and put a fixed price and a timeframe in writing before anything starts.

  3. I build it

Set up, configured and tested against how you actually work — in person, on site, where that helps.

  4. Handover

You get the accounts, the logins and a short written guide, and I walk your team through it so they can run it without me.

  5. A settling-in period

If something I built stops working, I fix it at no charge. TODO: confirm the period — e.g. 30 days after handover.

The terms, plainly

  • Fixed price, agreed in writing before work starts. If the scope doesn't change, the price doesn't either.
  • 50% to book the work in, 50% on handover.
  • TODO: confirm the post-handover period — anything I built that breaks in that window is fixed at no charge.
  • Any third-party software subscriptions the build relies on (some billed in USD) are paid by you, directly to the provider, and sit outside my fee.

Why me

What you're actually getting.

Local, and in person
Sunshine Coast based. I can sit down at your counter and watch how the work actually happens — not a call centre, not an offshore agency.
An operator, not an agency
Years spent running e-commerce, fulfilment, wholesale and custom-order operations for an Australian apparel brand. These are systems I've run myself, not just sold.
Prices published upfront
Fixed scope, fixed price, listed on this page. You don't have to sit through a sales call to find out what something costs.
You own everything
Accounts, logins, systems and documentation are yours at handover. No lock-in, and nothing that depends on me to keep running.

Not sure which one you are?

Tell me what's slowing you down and I'll tell you honestly whether I can help.
